Minsk. part 2 (second day)

On the second day was a three-hour tour of Minsk, which contributed to my Kills a lot of meaning:)

For example, if the first day of relatively cheap local cafe I ate at 24 thousand local rubles (which, translated into our 250), then to tour the local advised to eat in the cafeteria in the building of the railway station. Amount - 3000 bunnies - 5 courses - 32 RR ))

These buildings in the first post about Minsk, but then I thought of them still do not know:)
On the tour told us that the so-called "Gateway to Minsk." Everyone who arrives in Minsk, leaving in the city, the first thing they see that the Stalinist ensemble. In the middle - Kirov street. On the left the building are the biggest in Belarus clock - a diameter greater than 3.5 m. These hours were captured during the war by the Germans as a trophy, they are already over 100 years.

Then we were taken to Independence Square. Round glass roof - It is something like our arena (in which I was not a prom (: D)) - mu capital. Touted as a place where a wide range of Belarusian producers, but Nemiga or GUM not compare ... A building in the frame - this will save prewar apartment houses.

Neo-Gothic. Catholic Saint Symon and Alena (or red church). Built in the early 20 century.

The country has 15% of the population - Catholics.

next to the church installed a memorial to "The Bell of Nagasaki, in which basis laid a capsule with the earth of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as from the Chernobyl regions of Belarus (zadolbalas write in Russian:))

is, like, building Metrostroi or something such ... Metro appeared in Minsk in 1984, Line 2 - 25 stations. By 2030, planned to launch two more subway lines, the total number of stations in it reaches 50. Travel, by the way, costs 600 bunnies.

course, we talked about all the buildings on the square, but some of them have been yesterday)
most seditious, that described in this square - was the cost of education at the Pedagogical University ... - $ 600 per semester) MDA. And paysites exempt from distribution.

building, which is the first day I saw everywhere on magnets and other souvenirs. This is a library. National Library of Belarus. The tallest building in Minsk - 73 m. The exact dates can not remember, but this edifice was built in 3 years!

Francis Skaryna - Belarusian pioneer and educator.

Upstairs there is an observation playground and in the evenings arrange a laser show.

Cathedral

Island courage and sadness

remnants of pre-war Minsk - Trinity suburb

most expensive real estate in Minsk.

Actually Minsk - Minsk is not, and Mensk. In the frame - Svisloch left (over) The former River Nemiga. In place of their merger - found the most ancient buildings in the city. Long building on the shore just at this place is worth.

Monuments in Minsk, as in St. Petersburg - nemerenoe and at every step. But this I particularly liked for some reason)

Nemiga

All knocked home from work. Liked along the steps that have made Lucky:)

Peter and Paul Church. XVII century.

The oldest preserved building in Minsk.

Weekdays big city. In the picture you can see the local buses and trolleybuses. Fare costs 600 BR - 6.66 RR ... Whew!

do not know what was torn down to build these office towers, but the idea good)

This photographic day is over.

the evening of the day, too, started the madness))
It all started with a video (which has already seen everything, but if someone have not seen ...)

Then there was a cartoon about a rooster with a pipe (see the third minute, though the whole look does not hurt ...)

impress progruzivshis and finally sticking [info] marjah , [info] huper_by and [info] fridrixsxaven started to draw IT

...

To be continued)
